Happy St. Patty's Day!
Well today was an amazingly warm March day :) My friend Ashley, her son Connor, Evan and I headed to the beach to have some fun. The water was a bit cold but the day couldn't have been more perfect!

Three Rivers
Evan and I decided to take a little trip up to 3 Rivers to visit grandma and grandpa, while Teo held down the fort and was busy remodeling our bathroom and soon to be office.
As soon as we got to grandma and grandpa's Evan became grandpa's shadow (as usual) and followed him everywhere he went. He likes to help grandpa clean out the ditches, wash the dishes (hope that lasts) and maintain the yard.
Going on little hikes have been our favorite thing to do, which prove to be a bit harder for me when carrying a large belly around. Speaking of bellies, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes last week and have been following a strict diet to ensure that baby doesn't get to big. I actually like this new order for health and feel great. Almost all cases of gestational diabetes go away after the baby is born. I'll learn much more in my class next week.
Yesterday we went to the snow at Wolverton (an old ski resort I grew up skiing at) in Sequoia National Park. I have never seen such joy on Evan's face! He was literally squealing the whole time. He loved to sled down the big hill and have snowball fights (this was his 2nd time to the snow). Check out the video below, my dad made an awesome little video of his adventures in the snow. The day was great, but would have been perfect with Teo there.
