:: Merry Christmas and Mama ::

We hope you all have a safe and Merry Christmas!! Also wanted to share my Christmas present this year, the gift of "Ma ma ma ma".  Malia who is now 6 1/2 months has given me this awesome gift. I guess it's fitting because Evan called me "dada" till he was 1 1/2!

:: Grandma Zanna Visits ::

We had a great visit with Grandma Zanna this week! She got to meet Malia for the first time which was super cool.  While Grandma was here she read the kids books, went to the park, got to see Evan's first school play, and went to dinner.  Such a great visit! Here are some highlight pics :)

:: Thanksgiving in Paradise ::

We are so thankful to Tee and Kathy for flying us out to the Big Island for thanksgiving in paradise! Trying to select just a few pictures from our vacation was almost impossible but to view them all you can see them on my facebook page here.

The kids and I got to spend almost 3 weeks in heaven while Teo held down the fort and worked, thanks honey!  Teo got to spend the last week with us while we perfected our hawaiian tans, swam in crystal blue oceans and ate, ate ate :)

We had a wonderful thanksgiving feast at cousin Liko and Alan's beautiful house. Papa Great made the journey to spend time with us which was awesome. He has a smile that is contagious and a laugh that will brighten your day.

Getting to spend time with the family was wonderful, Evan helped Auntie Eileen release her pigeons at Tee and Kathy's house, where they would amazingly find their way home. We got to see Uncle Norman at work on his back hoe. Hanging out with Liko and Alan was a highlight. Having a special breakfast at Teshima's with the whole family including friends, Ed and Debbie, Karen and Les and Su was very special. Malia turned 6 months that day, what a special way to celebrate. Going to Cindy and Harold's house was fun where we played with bubbles and ate yummy lilikoi cake. We got to meet new family members like Uncle Phil who made the trip from Hilo to play Ukulele and sing beautiful music.  We hung out with Teo's cousin Paul and his family. Malia and their son Rhian drooled on each other (they are 3 weeks apart) and Evan was instant best friends with their son Bryson (8 years old). Visiting Ralph and Nancy Soderberg was also a highlight, chating on their lanai while sipping beers was relaxing.

This trip was amazing and spending time everyday with Tee and Kathy and other friends and family was incredible. Most of our days went like this: Evan makes smoothie. Pack for the beach. Swim, swim, swim. Come home. Relax.  Doesn't get much better than that!  I am so thankful for this Thanksgiving in Paradise :) Mahalo.
