:: Malia's rice cereal adventure ::

We gave Malia her first taste of rice cereal and surprisingly she liked it. I thought most kids hated it, but not Malia, she gobbled it down. Here are some pics and below is the video. Also is a random picture of Evan I couldn't pass up posting :)

:: Oma's Pumpkin Patch ::

Today we went to Oma's Pumkin Patch with the fam (it was Teo's first time).  Right when we rolled up we asked when the next hay ride was, the lady said in about 10 minutes. So we meandered over to the hayride and there wasn't anyone in line so we asked the hayride driver when the next ride was going. He said let's go right now on the "Mule". Well lucky us, we got a private tour on a golf cart, the mule, through the dairy farm, thanks Dave! If you have the chance to go this is the best pumpkin patch and the owners are super nice!!

Last year Evan and I went with Nana and had a great time. Last time Evan was scared to sled down

the cottonseed hill and today he was a cottonseed pro! He also was hesitant to go in the maze last year but didn't want to leave the maze this year. All in all it was a great day with our little pumpkins :)

:: It's a great day to get your ears pierced ::

Since it was gloomy out and we had nothing to do it made it a great day to go get Malia's ear's pierced! Teo and Evan went with us to the mall too, but daddy couldn't stand to watch his little girl in pain so he and Evan went to explore the mall :) I can say this experience was way more traumatic for me, I shut my eyes tight and held my breath. Malia cried hard for the seconds it took to pierce her ears, then quickly calmed down and eventually fell asleep. Phew, glad that's over with!!
