:: My love. Evan ::
I haven't written about Evan in a bit, so I thought I would write some things about my sweet boy.
1. You are 4 3/4, 42 lbs and 43 3/4 inches
2. Your obsession with "fast cars", hotwheels is still in full effect
3. You are an early riser like your daddy. You get yourself breakfast, and watch cartoons in the morning. After your breakfast, daddy makes you oatmeal, you call it eatmeal.
4. You make your bed and clean your room every morning (most of the time not happily ;)
5. You get yourself dressed and brush your teeth and um...wipe yourself (TMI :)
6. You turn anything into a sword
7. A pair of undies and a beanie transform you into nacho libre or a power ranger
8. Nacho Libre is still your favorite movie.
9. You sleep like a champ, still take 2-3 hour nap everyday
10. Dinner is not your favorite, maybe your full because you ate 3-4 breakfasts
11. You play for hours in the backyard, digging and playing with mud
12. You are a dancing machine
13. In your past life you were a singer in ACDC, drove a camaro, and were a pro wrestler
14. You have come out of your shell and aren't very shy anymore

:: Grandma's visit ::
Well I can't believe I forgot to write about grandma's visit, the visit that allowed me to relax in Kauai!
Thank you so much mom for loving my rascals (and Teo) for 7 days, while I went to Kauai. While I was gone, they had fun going to Lake Murray, the park, going to soccer practice, cousin Kai's lunch on the lawn, and getting grandma's special hugs and kisses. Thanks Mom, I owe you one!

:: Oma's pumkin patch ::
We went to our favorite pumpkin patch with friends yesterday, Oma's! We had fun exploring, see a new born calf, and being wild!!

:: Kauai ::
I recently got to go to Kauai for our friend Erica and Mike's wedding. I got to go solo and to say it was exciting was an understatement. Friends, surfing, stand up paddle-boarding, swimming, drinking, laughing and eating filled my time during my 7 days of freedom ;) Of course I missed my lovely children and husband, but that week gave me something back that you lose as a full time mommy, rest and relaxation. I got my happy back!!

Last month the fam and I took a hike up cowles mountain. Evan did great and was one of the youngest hikers we saw.
