:: Evan's first day of Preschool ::

Today was Evan's first day of preschool! Nana, Papa, Malia and I dropped him off and boy was it hard! Once he knew we were leaving he clung to my leg and wailed. Thank God my friend Jaci was there and told me to just say goodbye quickly and leave, otherwise the tearing out of my heartstrings may have continued for quite awhile.

When I picked up Evan at noon he was all smiles and told me about the fun day he had (phewww, what a relief!)  I asked if he played with any friends and he said "Yes Kristen".  Later I asked about Kristen and he said in a shy voice, "She's my girlfriend".  Awww cute but scary!! I know he's a cutie and this is just a preview of what's to come in the future, GIRLS, GIRLS and more GIRLS!

Needless to say we are very proud of our little man.  I want to enjoy every moment of his growing up (maybe not the tantrums, hitting and craziness) because before I know it he'll be off to college.

A Week of Firsts

A week of firsts. We took Malia to the beach for the first time this week where she slept like a baby (hahaha). Evan had a blast playing in the water in his undies!  We also went to the beach the next day so Malia's already a beach baby :) I had my first beer in 10 months, oh so delightful! And lastly Malia had her first bath (well second, the first bath she was screaming so we won't count that one :) and she loved it! Evan had fun helping us wash sister, he's such a good big brother.  We also managed our first trip to the grocery store and playground, just me and the kiddos. I'm happy to report we made it safe and sound :)
