Malia's friend Taylor gave her some pointers for sitting up :) She'll be sitting in no time!

:: Happy 4 Months Malia! ::

Malia is 4 months today! She got checked out by the doc today and she's doing great.  She is 17.9 lbs and 27", she dropped to the 95th percentile :) She is baby talking a lot and loves to put everything in her mouth. Her favorite person is brother and smiles whenever he is nearby. We recently made the transition to her big girl crib in her room and she is sleeping great through the night! She wakes up to eat around 1am then goes right back to bed. She had her first dip in the ocean yesterday (to her thighs) and loved it! Of course I forgot my camera!! Malia also loves bath time with brother and is getting a little to big for her tub.

Evan started a different swim school today, Bubbles, and did great!! He has had a fear of putting his face in the water, but Teo says he did an awesome job and went under water, whoo hoo! He is enjoying preschool and has a few best friends he always plays with, Tony, Nick, Taylor and Trevor.  He spends most of his at home time in his undies, making dirt roads in the back yard. He is still obsessed with Hotwheels cars, loves to dance and cracks us up daily.  He definitly has his moments but what 3 year old doesn't.  We are so blessed to have a happy and healthy family:)

:: September already!! ::

September already!! Wow time flies! Our latest venture was going to 3 Rivers again this past week with our friends Neda and her son Aden.  Unfortunately Teo had to work again (thanks hon!) so we did just a mommy and kiddo trip.

As always visiting grandma and grandpa is super fun and filled with cool adventures. We played in the pool, explored Sequoia Park and swam in the river.  Neda and I even got some mommy time and ventured to the local bar for a night on the "Big town" :) Later that evening I woke up to someone walking through the gravel driveway. I put my brave face on and walked up to the screen door and flipped the light switch, well hello Mr. Bear!! He or she was about 5 ft from my face, AWESOME!  I ran to get my mom to see if I should scare the bear away but it was gone by the time I got back.

All in all we had a great trip to 3 Rivers and Sequoia (as usual) and can't wait to go again with daddy!
