:: EVAN'S 5!! ::

EVAN is 5, whoo hoo!!! I Can't believe it!! Evan turned 5 on January 20th and got to celebrate 3 times:) We had a joint birthday party with our friends, Nanda, Buck and Ozzy up in San Clemente (Ozzy turned 2), which was super fun. Then on friday his buddies, Logan and cousin Kai came over for pizza and cake. They wrestled, watched movies and were crazy boys ;)  On Saturday Papa and Nana bought tickets to MONSTER JAM!! Evan and his buddy Lucian got to go watch the monster trucks fly through the air and crush the tiny cars.  They oohhhed and awed with every rev of the engine (not to mention I now want to be a monster truck driver). After the car crushing, the boys came back to our house for their very first sleep over! Such an exciting week for Evan. Oh and Evan started EAK (early admissions kindergarten on tuesday!) He's loving his new school, classmates and teacher.

I am so blessed to be Evan's mommy, he is funny, silly, smart, loving and I couldn't imagine life without him. We love you buddy. xoxo

:: Well Hello 2012! ::

Happy New Year everyone!!! We celebrated the new year with our great friends the Perry family and our friend Stuart. The next day we headed up to San Clemente where we continued the celebration with more friends at the Soderberg's casa.  We spent Christmas with my parents in Three Rivers which was awesome.

Since Evan didn't have school we decided to leave him with Grandma and Grandpa for the week :) Evan got to help out grandma and grandpa by being a "big boy helper" with whatever they needed help with. My parents are redoing their backyard and pool area, so Evan helped move dirt, bring tools and move rocks. He LOVED every minute. It was very quiet at our house and I don't think I yelled all week, but we sure did miss our little guy. We are so happy to have him home! I think we need to do that more often!

I tried to edit down some of the pictures, but I can't! So enjoy our many pics!! Cheers to a happy and healthy 2012!!
